Future Development Program Country Academy
Congratulations Millie, Alistair, Willow, Karlroy, Archer, Owen, Max, Abbey, Jed, Evie, Hazel, Harley and Lily on being selected into Basketball Victoria’s Future Development Program Country Academy after attending the U14 Skills Day at Korumburra last weekend.
Referee Course
Congratulations Royce, Tayah, Mia, Ash & Robby who all became graded referees yesterday. Fantastic job
Deb Bassett
50Years with FBA
This year marks 50 years that Deb has been involved with our association which is an absolutely amazing feat.
We are so grateful for all that she has done for us.
Deb has been a player, a parent, a grandparent, a coach, a spectator, a scorer, a committee member, our secretary, an umpire and a mentor….is there anything she can’t do?
In honour of Deb we have created the:
‘Deb Basset referee encouragement award’
Each year this will be voted on (by our graded referees) and presented to a green shirt umpire (trainee) who they believe is deserving.
We can not thank Deb enough for all her support and the hours she has put into our Association over the past 50 years.
